GPT-6 Luna is the lower-tier, high-throughput member of the GPT-6 family, released on September 22, 2026 alongside GPT-6 Sol. It keeps the same ~1.05M-token context and 128K max output but pushes pricing down to $0.10 per million input tokens and $0.50 per million output tokens — roughly half or less of the previous tier — for large volumes of everyday tasks.
