Phi-4 is a 14B parameter model launched by Microsoft Research, achieving impressive reasoning capabilities with an extremely small parameter size. Trained on high-quality synthetic data, it surpasses many much larger models in mathematical and scientific reasoning. Phi-4 performs outstandingly on GPQA and MATH benchmarks, demonstrating that small models can achieve high-level reasoning through quality data training.
