# dsh-anchored-gpt-patch

A DeepSeek Harness preset for GPT / Codex models, based on [`anchored-standard`](https://github.com/Jungod1121/dsh-anchored-standard). It replaces the `edit` / `write` tools with OpenAI Codex's `apply_patch`.

Everything else works like the original: the model starts with just `bash`, `read`, and `apply_patch`, and once it has made its first tool call the full tool list comes back — minus `edit` / `write`, so all file changes go through `apply_patch` (executed by the bundled `preset/bin/apply_patch` binary). Installing `dsh-apply-patch-ui` alongside is recommended; it renders patch calls as diff cards in the UI.

## Installation

Restart DeepSeek Harness after installation. The preset is copied to `$DSH_HOME/.agent-presets/anchored-gpt-patch/` (existing local modifications are not overwritten). When creating a new session, select **锚定标准模式（GPT Patch）** ("Anchored Standard (GPT Patch)" — preset names follow the Harness built-in presets, which are Chinese-only). To make it the default preset:

## Verification

Export the session JSONL and inspect the `request/header` events: the first header should contain only `bash` / `read` / `apply_patch`; after the first `tool/call` the full tool catalog is restored, without `edit` / `write`.

## Limitations

- `preset/bin/` currently ships only the Windows `apply_patch.exe`; the plugin installs on macOS / Linux but tool calls will fail.
- The `apply_patch` binary comes from OpenAI Codex; see `preset/bin/LICENSE-OpenAI-Codex.txt` for its license.
- Harness is still in developer preview; check upstream breaking changes before upgrading.

## Uninstall
