# dsh-notify

A notification plugin for [DeepSeek Harness](https://github.com/deepseek-ai/deepseek-harness) web (`dsh --profile web`). Adds a sidebar footer entry (styled like the built-in Settings trigger) with a floating panel: per-scene sounds for **every** finished turn, custom sound uploads, and system notifications while the tab is hidden — so you never have to keep staring at the page.

## Scenes

## Features

- **Sidebar entry**: a bell button at the sidebar foot, visually identical to the built-in Settings trigger (34px row, 12px radius, 36px rail circle, same hover token); opens a floating panel.
- **Per-scene sound selection**: each scene picks its own sound style independently from the built-in library — Default / Chime / Soft / Alert (synthesized, no assets needed). Selecting a style previews it immediately.
- **Custom sounds**: upload your own wav per scene (`audio/*`, ≤ 2 MB). A "Custom" option appears in that scene's dropdown; remove it anytime.
- **System notifications**: while the tab is hidden, non-silent scenes also fire a browser `Notification` (click it to focus the page).
- **Every finished turn notifies**: plan turns play the plan sound, every other finished turn plays the done sound (errors play fail instead, without double alerts).
- **Settings persisted** in `settings.yaml` under the `dsh-notify` namespace.

## Install

Requires DSH ≥ the version shipping the profile bundle system (`dsh plugin`).

Restart DSH. A bell button appears at the sidebar foot; click it to open the notification panel.

## Uninstall

```bash
dsh plugin --profile web remove dsh-notify-panel
```

Custom sound files are stored under `$DSH_HOME/notify/sounds/` and are removed with the "Remove custom" button in the panel (they are not deleted by uninstalling the plugin).
